Higashi Rinkan Animal Hospital

An animal hospital specializing in dogs and cats with a community-based doctor. To capitalize on the nuance of the place name, Higashi “Rinkan”, meaning “in the forest”, the tree standing in the center of the logo represents the hospital, and dogs and cats are playing around the tree. Together with the director of the hospital we pursued drawing not only the cuteness of dogs and cats, but also details such as their behavior, gesture, joints, or coat, that only their owner and doctor would understand.

地域に根ざしたホームドクターとして、犬と猫を専門に診る動物病院。「東林間」という地名のニュアンスを大切に、シンボルマーク中央に立っている樹をこの病院に見立て、その周りで犬と猫が自由に遊ぶシーンを表現している。犬と猫は可愛い姿だけでなく、習性や仕草や関節や毛並み等、一般の人にはわからなくても飼い主や専門医にはわかる、そんなディテールをオーナーと一緒に追求した。
